The centerpiece of this client’s dream dining room is a custom Nero Marquena marble table with a lacquered double, semi-cylinder base. Flanked by custom chairs in a stain resistant fabric, Jessie worked with her client to create a luxurious space with post-modern touches that flowed seamlessly with the rest of the house. The tambour door credenza in walnut is a nod to the midcentury architecture and touches throughout the home.
An eclectic mix of found portraits, a classic, mid-century sofa, an antique Chinese rug, and a Spanish trunk give this sitting room the unique and global sensibility of a collector.
When designing any room, context is key. For this modern Spanish guest bathroom, Jessie took cues from the rest of the home. A cement, fish-scale tile floor and a Moroccan zellige shower imbue the bathroom with an air of history, while the custom Arabescato marble vanity and brass fixtures treat guests to a hotel-like experience.
Elevated with sumptuous curves and color-a-plenty, Jessie created a space that was both sophisticated and fun. Taking cues from post-modern shapes while grounding the pieces with an antique Balouchi rug, this living room is perfect for entertaining or simply relaxing as a family. The Kagan-inspired custom sofa mirrors the bespoke built-in and maximizes seating.
It all begins with an idea.
If laundry must be done, why not do it in a beautiful space? Black and white terazzo tile punctuate the floor in this laundry room while a pinky-peach paint makes for the happiest of laundry days.
This room serves double duty as both an office and a guest room. Moody and Rich, the space makes working from home a luxurious endeavor. With detachable armrests and upholstered side rails, the custom ShaSha sofa turns into a bed fit for a queen. The color scheme is tied together with a vintage rug and Juan Guzman Maldonado oil painting.
