The ShaSha: Custom Sleeper Sofa

The ShaSha: Custom Sleeper Sofa

The ShaSha was born out of Jessie’s own desire for a luxurious guest room that would do double duty as a home office. Jessie wanted her sister, Ashley, or ShaSha as her nephews lovingly call her, to feel special as she retired to a beautiful, comfy bed and not a run-of-the-mill, pull-out couch. The ShaSha has a slightly higher back and easily-attachable upholstered side rails and footboard, both accented with a trim of playful fringe. This piece goes from day to night in a flash, and your guests will be none the wiser. It is lovingly handcrafted in Los Angeles, CA.

Jessie delights in partnering closely with skilled, local craftspeople to create the perfect pieces for her clients’ spaces. She worked with her client to source the marble for this custom, post-modern table. Jessie completed the look with these bespoke, modern chairs upholstered in stain-resistant fabric with brass legs for a touch of vintage and glamour.

In commercial spaces, booths can offer the maximum amount of seating while allowing opportunities for connection. In high traffic areas, they can keep a space looking tidy. In this dining area of this production studio, Jessie used an unexpected color palette to keep it fresh and young with a hint of vintage sensibility.
